Best Stick Vacuum Deals
For those who are on the hunt for a sleek, yet sturdy vacuum to help clean their space, consider this LG cordless cleaner. AD contributor Terri Williams tried out this vacuum and gave it two thumbs up for its thorough cleaning and filtration system. “The telescopic wand is adjustable, which lets me choose the right height to be comfortable, and after swapping out the power nozzle, I can also use it to vacuum the HVAC vents on my ceilings, as well as clean above my kitchen cabinets,” she says. “The vacuum also has a 5-step HEPA filtration system to keep allergens and dust inside of the vacuum, which is particularly important if you have issues with allergies.”
This cordless vacuum cleaner is one of our favorites for hard floors, especially for pet parents. You can finally say goodbye to the shedding fur around the house thanks to this vacuum’s tangle-free brushroll and three cleaning modes—standard, medium, and turbo—to help customize your cleaning. “The LED headlights illuminate dirt in hidden places and the vacuum has swivel steering features, meaning it easily maneuvers around furniture legs,” contributor Williams says. “It can easily convert to a handheld model, allowing me to use the crevice tool, combination dusting brush, and upholstery tool.” While the run time is only 35 minutes, this price is hard to beat.
The added features to this cordless vacuum make it a standout in our book. In terms of our favorites, we have been impressed by its HEPA Filtration and an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal to help keep dust and dirt from getting in the air. Plus, its dirt detect feature can tell when debris is in any given area and automatically increase its suction power.
Tineco products have a special place in the hearts of AD staffers. We’ve recommended the Tineco Pure One S12 Smart Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner as one of the best vacuums for hardwood floors and commerce director Rachel Fletcher described the Tineco Pure ONE X Cordless Vacuum Cleaner as “low maintenance and smooth sailing.” So it’s safe to say the Tineco Pure ONE S15—with its iLoop Smart Sensor and one-touch dustbin clean—would be something worth snagging this Prime Day (especially if you have pets).
What are the best Cyber Monday vacuum deals without at least one Dyson? The V15 Detect is the brand’s newest version of the Detect line, which has a microfiber brush head, LED light, and powerful suction to seek out even the tiniest specs of dust and debris. The LCD screen shows you exactly what’s being swept up in real-time (which, honestly, you might not want to see). This one is great for hardwood floors or low-pile carpets, and the dustbin is sizable enough that you won’t need to empty it every 10 minutes.
Don’t take our word for it: The Dyson V8 earned a spot in AD‘s 2021 Awards thanks to not one but two nominees. According to designer Leah Ring, “the Dyson V8 cordless vacuum changed my life, and I will never go back to a corded vacuum again. Spending so much time inside, I find keeping a tidier place helps me focus more when I’m working, and the convenience of the cordless Dyson makes vacuuming not feel like such a chore.” Fellow designer Ryan Belli called the V8 an “emotional support robot” and says, “My dog sheds like nothing on this planet and without this lovely machine I would lose my mind.” Another Dyson V8 is also on sale (keep on reading) but if you want something with a little more power, go for this model. The Dyson V8 Absolute is over $200 off, and it’ll come with two different vacuum heads instead of the V8’s one as well as different attachment.
This one is hot off the presses from Target’s Cyber Monday sale. The V8 origin is a classic cordless model that can do it all with a reasonable price tag (even more reasonable now that it’s $130 off). If you’re a bit of Goldilocks when it comes to vacuums, this middle of the road Dyson is the perfect fit for a deep clean without any unnecessary accoutrements.
This Shark cordless vacuum is one of our go-to picks for hardwood floors, largely because of its self-cleaning ability. The brushroll and silicone PowerFins sweep up debris and pet hair without tangling. The floor nozzle has an LED light that helps one AD editor, “find more dirt than I would care to know about.” The HEPA filter protects against allergens, and it’s easy to empty the dustbin without getting sneezy. The vacuum also comes with two attachments, including a crevice tool for all the nooks and crannies.
For those on the hunt for a sleek and stylish vacuum that won’t be an eyesore in your living room, feast your gaze on the Samsung Bespoke Jet. Contributor Williams gave the Bespoke Jet a whirl earlier this year and found it works just as beautifully as it is designed. “There’s more to the machine than just looks,” Williams says. The machine rests in a self-emptying cleaning station that doubles as a charging dock. It’s got a super high wattage at 210 W, while also staying pretty lightweight and thus provides a super easy maneuver. “The combination of looks and performance make the Bespoke Jet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner my favorite new cleaning machine.” Now at a big markdown, this is definitely one of the best Cyber Monday sales out there right now.
Larger spaces lend themselves to a vacuum with a wide head for easy, efficient cleaning. This Dyson model has an adjustable power trigger so you can add more suction where you need it, and it offers a full hour of runtime. Like most Dyson stick vacuums, it can be easily converted to a handheld vacuum, too, for cleaning furniture, cars, and more.
So many Dyson deals, so little time. This particularly heavy duty model runs for 60 minutes and has night vision and a microfiber head. Contributor Williams reviewed the model when testing for hardwood floor vacuums: “The Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Stick Vacuum has an angled laser that detects a surprising amount of dust particles on the floor,” Williams says. “And if that’s not enough, the Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner has a color-coded LCD screen to reveal the types of particles being sucked up by the deep suction motor and passing through the detangling motor-bar cleaner head.”
This AD award-winning Dyson vacuum stole our hearts for its size and power. “Not all vacuums are created equal—at least that’s what I’ve learned after using this Dyson for the past few months,” we wrote. “The cordless vac has eliminated the messy wires and extension cords I typically associate with one of my least favorite chores (and even made it inexplicably satisfying).” It has a two-hour runtime and a design that lends itself well to cleaning every hard-to-reach spot in your space.
This is one of our all-time favorite cordless vacuums, and for good reason (or several). It’s lightweight, comes with several attachments for different cleaning needs, and has an impressive tangle-resistant design. Plus, the price point is solid at market price, so it’s even more worthwhile to snag it now at 25% off.
Don’t sleep on the newest innovation from Tineco either: A self-cleaning cordless vacuum cleaner that was just released this year. Some of us were very excited about this fact, including commerce director Rachel Fletcher. “Speaking to the specific kind of nerd I am, when I saw this Tineco hit the market, I was pumped,” she says of the Pure ONE Station 5 Cordless Smart Vacuum. “I have and love my original cordless Tineco, but the fact that you have to clean most lightweight vacuums after every use is a drag. This powerful cordless model cleans itself and has reinvented the (literal) wheel to make the brushroll tangle-proof. I’m so in.”
This stick vacuum will get into all the nooks and crannies, according to Meg Kernahan, associate director, commerce partnerships. As a pet parent, she told us it’s been particularly effective for picking up her dog’s hair. “The head features a light that clearly shows where attention is needed. Sometimes the dog hair blends in with the floor, and this ensures I never miss a spot.” More pros to enjoy? It’s lightweight, has a convenient upright charging stand, and has a runtime of 48 minutes.
There aren’t many Miele vacuums on sale for Cyber Monday, but fortunately, this editor-favorite is marked down at 20% off. Resident vacuum aficionado Terri Williams was impressed by its versatility thanks to the moveable power unit. The Reach Mode allows you to attach it to the top of the vacuum cleaner to address hard-to-reach spots like under furniture, or it can go into Comfort Mode with the unit near the bottom to lighten the load.
This cordless stick vacuum gets high marks for the multi-surface brush, strong suction (190AW), and extensive battery life (90 minutes). The soft roller brush attachment is also helpful when you need to clean up hard floors, and there are several other tools for a more customized clean.
Our top pick for hardwood floors, the Gen5detect Absolute from Dyson is the company’s most powerful HEPA cordless vacuum. It also has the longest runtime of all cordless vacuums (70 minutes), and it comes with a fluffy optic cleaner head to polish your hardwood floors. The exclusive blue and copper color combo is now $250 off on the Dyson website.
Hoover has entered the chat with a heavy duty stick vacuum made for pet owners. There are several attachments to use for different cleaning needs, and the MAXLife filtration system can keep it running three times longer before it requires a rinse. If you need a little more convincing, it’s backed by more than 6,700 five-star reviewers on Amazon.
The weight of this cordless vacuum from Dyson is almost as astounding as the discount. To be clear, it’s 4.4 pounds and 54% off—two things we can really get behind. True to its name, it’s slim and sleek, but still has the features we know and love from Dyson (think a detangling motorbar and no-touch bin emptying).
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need to shell out hundreds for a best-selling vacuum. More than 68,000 five-star reviewers have recommended this stick vacuum from Bissell. One of the most lightweight models on the market (only 3.7 pounds!), it’s also powerful and can transform into a handheld vacuum, too. And when it’s basically the same price as ordering a latte on DoorDash, it’s so easy to rationalize this purchase. Keep in mind that it’s available in purple and blue, but only the black vacuum is on sale now.
Best Robot Vacuum Deals
“I have a mix of hardwood, low-pile carpet, and throw rugs, so it’s important for a robot vacuum to effectively clean each surface without making a mess,” Williams says of this vacuum. “It needs to be intelligent enough to detect the different surfaces and adjust accordingly. And since I’m busy, I’d prefer that the robot vacuum empties and cleans itself.”
“The Eufy X10 Pro Omni Robot Vacuum is one of my tried and true favorites,” Williams says. “However, the futuristic Eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S1 Pro is sleeker and more impressive—although it’s also much more expensive.” Get it for over 30% off now during Cyber Monday.
You can save $200 on Dyson’s first-ever robot vacuum, which is also a favorite Williams has tested. “Powerful suction is apparently one of Dyson’s core values, and I was impressed (but not surprised) that this little robot vacuum didn’t leave anything on the floor,” Williams says. “The brush bars provide edge cleaning, and that’s another feature that allowed it to pick up dirt and debris along the baseboards.”
No this isn’t some alien space probe—just one of Roborock’s newest vacuums, the Q Revo robot vacuum and mop. Not only does this model feature a self-emptying base, it’s also got an impressive mop set-up. Think dual spinning mops along with automatic washing and drying post-cleanup. Snag this for 40% off and say hello to spotless floors forever.
Ditch your mop in favor of a robo mop vac from Yeedi that’ll quickly turn into your new one-stop cleaning shop. Using smart technology, the Yeedi can detect the floor type and adjust its cleaning methods accordingly. It also features advanced 3D obstacle avoidance software so you won’t have to stack up all your small tables and chairs whenever you run your mop vac.
If you want a vac that literally does everything, this wet/dry vacuum from Roborock is the way to go. It’s self-cleaning, self-emptying and even has a water reservoir that will refill the robot with mop water for you—pretty much the definition of set-it-and-forget-it. The bag at the dock holds seven weeks of dust, and you can store enough water in it to mop over 3,000 square feet without refilling. The Roborock companion app lets you manage everything from your phone and you can enable Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant to go even more hands-off.
A behemoth of a robo vac, this Deebot works just as cool as it looks. The towering all-in-one Omni station alleviates one bit of the cleaning process and the robo vac itself even has voice control, allowing you to tell your vacuuming device exactly what you want it to clean and where. Score this advanced piece of tech for over 50% off while the discount lasts, as Amazon Cyber Monday deals are constantly changing.
If you need a bit more suction than the X1, consider splurging on Ecovac’s priciest and most feature heavy model. Here’s what Williams shared about her experience trying it on her floors: “The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni provides a thorough cleaning through the use of strong suction, intense mopping, and a square design that fits into corners. The long battery life and bonus security camera are other functions that make this feature-rich robot vacuum a great (albeit, expensive) choice.” Williams also noted that the square shape makes it easier to sneak into harder-to-reach corners.
Another robot vacuum deal, we recommended Eufy’s RoboVac X8 Hybrid Robot Vacuum as the best option for pet hair, so it’s safe to say this slightly slimmer version would suit a similar purpose. The Eufy 11S cleans relatively quietly, has a 100-minute run time, and features BoostIQ technology that triggers an ultra-powerful suction when a deeper clean is needed.
The Shark IQ Self-Empty Base Robot Vacuum won the title of Best Overall Robot Vacuum for Hardwood Floors from our list of 14 thoroughly tested machines. This smart, self-emptying machine can hold up to a month’s worth of dust and dirt. It can be programmed from your phone for easy cleaning, and it’s also self-charging. “[The IQ] has everything I wanted—and more—when searching for the best vacuums for hardwood floors,” Williams says. And—enter drumroll.
Designed for hardwood floors and carpet with stairs, it comes with an easy setup process and connects to the SharkClean app so you can ask your Alexa or Google Assistant to start cleaning, too. One of Williams’s top “pros?” The dirt-detection technology. “It will automatically boost suction when it detects a dirtier section,” Williams shared in a review. “That is always comforting to me, since I know it means the dirt tracked in by visitors is being erased (the dust bin does indeed confirm the presence of significant debris).”
Another self cleaning star: roborock S7 Max Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo. We loved this vacuum and mop combo so much, we wrote a whole story about it back in 2023. Reviewer Williams praised its cleaning abilities wholeheartedly. “The beauty of this model is that it takes the word “self” very seriously,” she says. “It’s self-emptying, self-refilling, self-cleaning, self-washing, and even self-drying. The gadget cleans multiple floor types—vacuuming both carpets and hardwood floors, as well as mopping hard floors. Plus it’s smart enough to avoid obstacles and stairs—and can distinguish between hard floors and carpets, lifting the mop when needed.” We searched high and low and it looks like it’s only on sale at Target right now, but it’s a whopping $500 off.
You can’t talk about robot vacuums without name-dropping iRobot, and the Combo j7+ model is a favorite for hardwood floors because it works as both a vacuum and a mop. Using what’s called smart scrub technology, it can scrub in a back and forth motion to pick up and remove tough messes on your floors. To make the experience even more efficient, you can also control everything from the iRobot app or ask your Alexa or Google Assistant to start cleaning.
Another two-in-one vacuum and mop, the ILife V5 Pro can save you time and limit your need for multiple cleaning devices. AD contributor Jordan Goldberg shared just how effectively it handled messes: “The vacuum is dedicated to getting even the tiniest specks of dirt, circling back two or three times until the area is spotless.” Goldberg also recommended using the path mode, which lets the robot vacuum move around and address any areas that need a good clean.
Associate visuals editor Lizzie Soufleris said it’s quickly become “an effortless aspect of our apartment upkeep,” adding that it’s easy to use the app to schedule cleaning times for specific areas or the entire home. And at 50% off right now, it’s hard to pass up a smart vacuum at this price.
For a small, self-emptying robot vacuum, the K10+ comes highly recommended because it can squeeze into most corners. It’s also much quieter than most other vacuums, emitting 48 decibels, which is about the volume of a normal conversation.
The latest version of the iRobot Vacuum Essential robot promises two times more cleaning power and 60 days of cleaning before self-emptying. One reviewer loved it so much they purchased a second one for the other floor of their home. This is an Amazon exclusive, so you’ll want to take advantage of this special deal for 38% off.
Best Corded and Upright Vacuum Deals
This Dyson vacuum is more than meets the eye. Not only is it designed with a detangling motorbar that detangles and picks up long hair and pet hair at the same time, but it is also equipped with a pet grooming attachment that can allow you to trim down your medium-to-long-haired dog or cat’s fur.
An under $100 pick that puts in work? We’ll take that, thank you. Eureka’s upright vac is a multi-surface wonder, but we especially recommend it for a space with lots of carpet. It comes with several attachments for floorboards, the cracks in your couch, and more, and has a large bin.
Another Dyson vacuum for people with pets, this one stands out thanks to its supreme suction power. It is designed to get in hard-to-reach places and move from hardwood floors to carpets with its self-adjusting head.
If you’re more of an upright vacuum person, you can’t go wrong with Shark’s Navigator. It has a 0.9-quart capacity (larger than a Dyson), and works with a HEPA filter to trap dust and allergens inside. The body of the vacuum also detaches from the foot, so you can clean high or hard-to-reach corners with ease. And because it’s corded, you’ll never have to worry about charging—or having the battery die in the middle of a cleaning session.
Even on sale, Dysons aren’t exactly budget-friendly. Shark’s lightweight Rocket model, however, offers similar functionality for just a third of the price: It’s bagless, under nine pounds, handles all floor types from carpet to hardwood, and easily converts into a handheld vacuum. It’s also corded, which means you’ll never have to worry about charging. Another perk: Even on sale, it still comes with a five-year warranty.
Best Wet/Dry Vacuum Deals
While the price might seem steep at first glance, this wet-dry vacuum packs several features that will come in handy for cleaning your floors. According to our tests, it has a 40-minute runtime and self-cleaning system to keep the wet rollers in good condition. And from there, you can remove the motor from the wet-dry vacuum and replace it with the regular cordless stick vacuum to clean carpets and hard floors for 65 minutes. Plus, extras like the ZeroTangle brush, mini power brush, 2-in-1 crevice dusting brush, and cleaning tool and call be used on the regular cordless vacuum cleaner for added functionality.
While BISSELL’s Little Green isn’t exactly a vacuum (it uses both water and suction to lift dirt and stains) it is a top-rated favorite among reviewers. “It’s cleaned the surface stains in the carpet AND helped to get rid of old/lingering smells that were under the carpet in the pad,” one such reviewer writes. Another shares that it “gave me my couch back,” after years of stains from a dog and three kids. At under-$100 at Amazon, it’s the cheapest we’ve been able to find it online—and will be much cheaper than hiring a professional carpet cleaner.
The nice thing about cordless vacuums is they bring everything (and sometimes more) that your classic vacuum might bring, but without any of the pain of needing to juggle a wire as you vacuum. This model from Tineco has a slightly larger tank capacity than previous generations of the FLOOR ONE, meaning more cleaning for a longer time. At 44% off, it’s also one of the best deals you’ll find on Tineco vacuums.
We’ve included a bunch of robot vacs from roboroc, but did you know the brand also has a few more upright, standing models as well? This wet vac can suction your floors and mop them at the same time, and it will even clean and dry itself once it’s all done. Plus, it‘s currently over 30% off.
And if you want a model that’s specifically targeted towards tackling pet hair, then take the CrossWave Pet for a spin. It’s got a tangle-free brush roll, pet hair strainer, and a PET multi-surface formula to help maximize cleanliness despite the mess your furry friend (or friends) might bring to your house.
Another irresistible Dyson deal? The Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, which operates as both a vacuum and a mop. The integrated wet/dry system comes with three cleaner heads to tackle all types of dirt and grime on your floors—including the submarine wet roller head, which you pour water into for the mop functionality. Our editors love how it has the same articulating head we know and love about Dyson’s stick vacuums. Here’s what AD contributor Williams said about it: “I found it easy to swivel around furniture legs and reach underneath my couch when mopping.”
Best Canister Vacuum Deals
If you don’t mind cords, Miele is always our go-to canister vacuum brand. The Boost CX1 is relatively compact and has wheels on either side, making it easier to move about your home. It also has a bagless design, so emptying it is as simple as clicking the “Empty” button.
At $80, the market price for this popular canister vacuum is already better than most, and now it’s less than $60. It also comes with a whopping 24,000 five-star reviews and counting, with customers raving about its solid price point, powerful suction, and compact design.
Even though it’s corded, this canister vacuum allows you to do it all thanks to the number of functional attachments and telescoping wand to reach under your furniture or up high for walls and ceilings.
When Jeri Fritz, founder and owner of Highland Park Housekeeping, explained how to eliminate dust from your air vents, she recommended this Miele canister vacuum. The real star of the show? The round dust brush attachment that can remove 99% of dust off your vents.
Best Handheld Vacuum Deals
Here’s a handheld vacuum that offers powerful suction to pick up debris in efficient fashion. It’s backed with a 20 volt battery you can recharge. It also has accessories like a flip-up brush and extendable crevice tool to keep every nook and cranny tidy in your home.
The Shark Wandavac Handheld Vacuum is quite slim, which makes it ideal for tight spaces, like cleaning the counter space in between my appliances and in the corners of rooms. The filtration technology grabs everything from dust to larger objects. And because it’s so light and compact, you can store it practically anywhere to charge.
Why shop for one Black + Decker handheld vacuum when you can grab two for the hard-to-reach areas in your home and car? This rechargeable pick is on sale for about $50 and has a rotating nozzle that can help you clean tight spaces.
An super compact handheld vac option, this model from eufy doesn’t even really look like a vacuum until you put it to work. Perfect for life’s little messes, it’s ultra slim and lightweight, so you can easily store it away. And, with USB connectivity, you can easily charge it right next to your phone. Get this compact wonder for over 40% off.
Another handheld vacuum from BLACK+DECKER, this one is made specifically for car and pet owners. It’s lightweight and portable, so you can use it around the home, in your car, and take it on the go. The extra-long extendable crevice tool can reach ceilings, difficult-to-reach spots in your car, and more. When you need even more suction, you can click the Power Boost button to pick up any mess.
What kind of vacuum should you buy?
- Cordless Stick
If ease-of-use and versatility are a must-have around the house, odds are you’ll get the most from a stick vacuum. They’re powerful enough for cleaning up big messes but are also ideal for the routine maintenance that comes from having a pet or living in an area with a lot of dust and allergens. They also tend to be more lightweight than their corded counterparts, if mobility is an issue for you. In 2024, many of them have battery power strong enough to run up to an hour uninterrupted and have suction capable of cleaning any room and any surface, without the inconvenience of a cord. The most popular stick vacuum brand is probably Dyson, but these days there are options at all price points, including Shark, LG, Samsung, or Roborock. - Robot
If getting out the vacuum each evening is a slog or you’d rather have someone else take care of messes, just have a robot do it. Robot vacuums are the ideal smart home companion, running on a predetermined schedule and seeking out the messiest areas without any guidance. Many of them even clean themselves and empty out their own dustbins, meaning you can literally set it and forget it. iRobot’s Roombas are the most popular version (and basically the Kleenex of robot vacs), but you can find great picks from Samsung, Shark, and more. Plus, you might even see your cat riding on it someday, and who can pass up that opportunity? - Corded and Upright
Not all corded vacuums are upright vacuums, but if you are seeking an upright vac for its power and capacity, odds are, it needs a constant power source to achieve results. They’re great for homes with pets that shed heavily or track lots of dirt into the house, but can be tricky to work with given the restriction of an electrical cord and their cumbersome design. If you want to be sure you can get everything with one pass, though, an upright might be the pick for you. There are also corded stick vacuum options, if lightweight mobility is a draw. - Wet/Dry
A Wet/Dry Vacuum is a godsend for those of us who live in homes with no carpet—some things just can’t (or shouldn’t) be vacuumed. An ideal combination of a mop-and-bucket and a Swiffer-style wet-or-dry mop, a wet/dry vacuum utilizes the suction and rotation power of a vacuum with just enough moisture to keep things from getting sopping wet. Some will even detect if mopping or vacuuming is needed and can toggle back and forth automatically. If you’ve still got a conventional mop at home, chuck it out. - Handheld
Keeping a handheld vacuum is perhaps not quite as necessary as it once was given the proliferation of stick vacuums that come with half a dozen attachments, but even the Dyson-obsessed homeowner can find use for a simple handheld vacuum. They’re great for cleaning up drywall dust after a weekend-DIY project or cleaning delicate home decor. You can even keep one in your car if you’re prone to spills.
