This is a book two so there could be spoilers from book one below.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Harper has been working with her grandma and learning how to banish soul eaters (demons). This comes in handy when her family goes on vacation to a small island. Harper’s aunt and uncle work at a hotel there and they’re visiting. Harper noticed right away that there were woods that made the whole island feel off. She finds out the history and a lot of people have died on the island. The island’s founder made a deal with some demons. These demons sacrifice humans and want to get enough souls that they can stay on earth forever. Harper needs to find a way to stop them without her grandma there to help. Luckily she has friends and even a young ghost to help her.

I gave this book 5 stars.
