The Inspiration Story
Calm’s design stems from the idea of using thin materials, like paper, to define and create spaces. By applying a textured fluted pattern to the thin PET felt, the design achieves both strength and structure, similar to how corrugations reinforce cardboard. This approach balances simplicity, durability, and sophistication, transforming lightweight materials into sturdy, functional privacy screens.
